Our mission to support and empower developmental growth
Inclusive Therapy has been developed by Occupational Therapist, Beth Du Plooy.
Beth is originally from South Africa, where she qualified and worked in Paediatrics in special schools and the Education Department, to support children with severe intellectual and physical disabilities.
In addition to working in education, Beth has provided Occupational Therapy services in Psychiatric facilities to clients with mental health conditions, such as Depression, Stress, Substance abuse etc. as well as working in Neurology and Physical Rehabilitation, before moving to NZ.
Since moving to Aotearoa, Beth has worked in Education with tamariki, their whanau and kaiako and have found the mahi quite rewarding. This has inspired her to broaden her expertise and expand on the skills she is trained for.
Beth has been working as an OT for 15 years and enjoys living and working in beautiful Aotearoa.
Beth provides Occupational Therapy for children aged 0-18 years old and has experience working with children who has developmental, neurological, visual perceptual and sensory regulation challenges.

Sensory Integration

Motor Skills Development
We assess your child's strength and coordination, from big movements like balance and playing to tiny ones like writing or using a spoon, helping them master the skills for daily life.
Visual Perceptual Development
Assessing the complex interaction between vision and the brain to determine how a child interprets visual information, which is foundational for activities like reading and writing.
Developmental Milestones
Holistic evaluations of a child’s overall development, including play skills, self-care, attention, and emotional regulation in everyday environments.
Professional Supervision
Reflective and supportive supervision for Occupational Therapists, focusing on clinical reasoning, case discussion and solution focused interventions.
